BID, City Harvest’s signature fall tasting event will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. Proceeds will support City Harvest’s work to feed the more than 1.2 million New Yorkers facing hunger.
The evening, hosted by Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, City Harvest Food Council Chairman, is attended annually by approximately one-thousand guests and will include a diverse offering of food and beverages from more than 50 of New York City’s best chefs and mixologists, including Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin, Emma Bengtsson of Aquavit, Angie Mar of the Beatrice Inn, Angie Rito of Don Angie, and SekiShi of Sushi Seki. The evening will have a Havana Nights theme and will feature live music and a chance to bid on unique experiences.
United MileagePlus® cardmembers participating in this package will be among hundreds of VIPs to enjoy early access, one-hour prior to general admission, and gain access to GZ’s Social Club VIP Room hosted by Geoffrey Zakarian where interactive gourmet tastings, specialty cocktails, and superior wines will be offered. In addition, as a sponsor, Inside Access from Chase will host a private cabana with a dedicated bar and an opportunity to meet and take a photo with Chef Suzanne Cupps, Executive Chef of Untitled and Studio Cafe at The Whitney, and a City Harvest Food Council Member.
City Harvest helped start the food rescue movement in 1982 when a group of New Yorkers saw that NYC had an abundance of excess food even while a large number of its residents struggled to feed themselves and their families. For 35 years, City Harvest has been New York City’s largest food rescue organization, helping to feed the more than 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables. This year, they will rescue 61 million pounds of food and deliver it, free of charge, to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens and other community partners across the five boroughs. City Harvest’s programs help food-insecure New Yorkers access nutritious food that fits their needs and desires, and strengthen the local food system, building a path to a food-secure future for all.

This event is fully planned and operated by City Harvest and prices for tickets have been set by them. This special Inside Access package included here has been purchased by Chase as a sponsor and specially priced exclusively for use in this program at a discount. Seating is very limited. The menu for the evening is specifically designed for this event and pre-selected therefore it will not be possible to accommodate specific dietary restrictions due to the event not being hosted by Inside Access. There will be a broad array of menu offerings at the tasting stations. This is not an autograph session.
