Celebrated Chef, Suzanne Goin, will host Inside Access from Chase guests for this private evening beginning with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception followed by a specially curated dinner. The menu will feature a selection of Chef Goin’s favorite summer-inspired recipes. In keeping with a.o.c.’s signature style, shared plates will be offered paired with sustainably made boutique wines.
After opening critically acclaimed Lucques restaurant in 1998, Suzanne Goin and business partner Caroline Styne embarked on a.o.c. Located in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles, a.o.c. continues to be known as the area’s pioneering wine bar that first paired an indulgent list of wines by the glass with a menu of market-driven small plates.
Chef Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne have been recognized a number of times by the James Beard Foundation for their contributions and excellence in the industry. Most recently, Caroline Styne was awarded the James Beard Foundation’s Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year (2018). In 2017 Chef Goin was inducted into the James Beard Who's Who of Food & Beverage in America, and recognized as Outstanding Chef (2016), Best Chefs in America - California 2006, and Best Cookbook, Cooking from a Professional Point of View (2006).
As a memento of the evening guests will receive Suzanne Goin’s second book, The A.O.C. Cookbook. The book includes a collection of seasonal recipes from the restaurant with wine notes by Caroline Styne, as well as a complete section devoted to cheese, a major component to the a.o.c. menu.
